TNSS Advisory Committee:
Thompson Newcomer Settlement Services works with a community advisory committee who meet throughout the year to provide input and recommendations on various aspects of the Newcomer Settlement Services program such as:
What settlement assistance is required by newcomers
How to reach the target population
How to best deliver the program
Planning for the future
Other assistance as required by Coordinator
Further, the committee provides a means of communication between the program and many sectors of the community that work with newcomers - industry, government, health, education, etc.
